Maybe the software from KE5FX? I don't know the FSM is compatible with the FSE at GPIB transmission layer. This software supports series FSE, FSIQ, and the FSU. Source code is available.

Hello and thanks for your kind answer

The KE5FX software is also working well with my FSEK, but it only does phase/noise measurements from the carrier.
My purpose is to get with it a broadband noise/gain analyser as with the EATON 2075 or the HP-8970(a or b)
So you can directly and immediately get gain/noise_figure LNA meases

Sorry, I did not read carefully. I am working currently on measurements of phase noise and all the noise I associate with the phase.chory

OK no problem
But if you know anybody having thsi FS-K3 gain/Nf measurement Software, I'll be strongly interested

Regarding your P/N meases with the KE5FX Soft : did you also make the spectrum analyser floor meases, for example at 10MHz, 100MHz or 10 GHz (with only a 50 Ohm load screwed on the S-A ? ?

Not yet. I use the first generation FSP7 (Win NT). I tried to use the RS-232 connections to the PN software, but without results. I need to buy NI GPIB USB. For now, I'm using mechanisms built in spectrum analyzer. As for the level of their own phase noise of the spectrum analyzer, I base on R&S data.
KE5FX suggests using a cleaner source than the LO of the spectrum analyzer to determine the baseline phase noise.
After purchasing my SA also looking for K3 and K4 software. But I thought that it would be hard very to find. Now instead of K3, I use the VNA with a built-in application to the noise measurement (Anritsu MS4623B) and noise sources NSG-10GA (www.rfmicrovawe.it).

Exaaactly ! !
The best way is to buy an NI PCI/HPIB interface (as I have + getting its thick driver - but cheaper as the USB one)and if possible, never a Prologics or similar one.
So you'll never ask yourself about new coming (and annoying computer) problems (that I hate)
I need it here with the KE5FX soft (don't know if it is the last one) and Softplot
Yes the internal spectrum Analyser has a great noise internal LO, but less important in the last TVT generations

OK for your Nf/gain measurement method - here I use the HP8970b + 26 GHz Nf test-set HP8971C (now having the 18 GHz B version to sell) + sweeper HP 8350b + adequate plugin combination (2-20 or 18-26 GHz)

But like other pepole are doing with their HP70000 multimode S-A, I also want getting the Nf/gain meas possibility on my new FSEK

Sie können mir auch ohne Problem in Deutsch antworten - aber leider nicht in Polnisch obwohl meine Mutter Polisch war ! !

This means that you advise against buying Prologix GPIB-USB Controller 6.0 to play with KE5FX software and SA ?
It cost less then NI

Absolutely (but the final decision remains only to you)javascript:wst_raz('lol','tekst')
Many french people did have informatical (soft) problems with these Ersatz Cards so, the only way to minimise them is to buy directly a real good National Instruments PCI/HPIB card and install it under Windows-XP.
XP is the industry the best stable Kern that Microsoft did, and all after comings systems (Vista=berk, Win8) are for our technical needings (and installation problems) with some installation doubts
In my opinion, I'll do all that is possible to conserve Win-XP with all my present softwares and never update to a newer onelol
